Removing Team Members

As your team changes, you may need to remove users from your BidScript workspace. Removing a team member immediately revokes their access and frees up a seat, allowing it to be reassigned to another user.

To remove a user:

  1. Scroll to the Members section.

  2. Locate the user you want to remove.

  3. Select the Bin icon next to their name.

  4. Review the confirmation message.

  5. Select Remove to confirm.

The user is removed immediately.

Warning: Removing a user is permanent and cannot be undone.

What Happens When a User Is Removed?

Access

The user:

  • Immediately loses access to your BidScript workspace.

  • Can no longer sign in or access organisation data.

Seat Capacity

The user's seat becomes available immediately and can be reassigned to another team member.

User Data

Removed

The following content is permanently removed:

  • BidBot chat history created by the user

Retained

The following shared content remains available to your organisation:

  • Bid library documents

  • Project data

  • Answer Workspace content

  • Other shared organisational content

Removing a user does not delete shared work that other team members rely on.

Tasks

Any tasks assigned to the removed user will remain in the system but will become unassigned. You can reassign these tasks to another team member if required.
