Before You Begin
Admin Access
Only users with the Admin role can:
Change team member roles
Access the Organisation page
Manage organisation users and team seats
If you can't see the Organisation page, contact an Admin in your organisation.
Access the Organisation Page
To manage user roles:
Go to
Settings.Select
Organisation.
Change a User's Role
User roles can be updated from the Team Seats section.
To change a user's permissions:
Scroll to the Team Seats section.
Locate the team member whose role you want to change.
Select the
Roledropdown on their row.Choose the new role.
Your changes are saved automatically and take effect immediately.
Note: There is no confirmation step. Once a new role is selected, the user's permissions are updated straight away.
Available Roles
You can assign any of the following role types.
Core Seats
Provides full access to the BidScript platform.
Best for:
Bid managers
Bid writers
Core delivery team members
Knowledge Seats
Provides access to:
BidBot as the primary interface
Projects the user has been explicitly invited to
Best for:
Sales teams
Commercial teams
Business development users
Guest Seats (SMEs)
Guest Seats, also referred to as SMEs, provide limited access for collaboration.
Users with this role can:
Edit or review assigned questions
Contribute to specific projects they have been invited to
They do not have full access to the BidScript platform.
Best for:
Subject matter experts (SMEs)
External contributors
Occasional reviewers
Managing Seat Capacity
Each role type has a licensed seat allocation.
If you've reached the maximum number of seats for a particular role, you won't be able to assign additional users to that role until capacity is available.

Additional seats for any role type
To reassign seats between licence types during your current billing period
please contact your Account Manager or the BidScript Support Team, who can help you update your subscription.
