Exporting Your Final Answers

Written by Tyler McCarthy

Once draft responses have been completed, reviewed, and approved, BidScript allows users to export answers for submission or offline review, and subsequently re-upload them to the Q&A Store to strengthen organisational knowledge.

This ensures every bid contributes to a growing, reusable library of high-quality responses.

Exporting Completed Answers

To export all answers, they must have all been reviewed and moved to the submission area.

BidScript supports multiple export formats:

  • DOCX (Word): Ideal for formal tender submissions (either in a custom format or the Microsoft default).

  • XLSX (Excel): Suitable for supplier questionnaires (SQs, PSQs, or PQQs).

How to Export

Pre-requisite: Ensure all answers (or all targeted answers) have the status set to reviewed. This will move them to the submission area.

  • Open the Project you are working on

  • In the top Nav bar - select 'Submission Area'

  • In the Submission Area, select the questions you wish to export

  • The Exporting Control panel will appear from the right

  • Select your template and structure for questions.

Please note: you can use the arrows to the right of the question to create an indented structure.

  • Choose whether to export as a word file or excel file

  • Confirm the download via your browser.

All exports preserve:

  • Question references

  • Draft answer text

  • Word counts and weightings

  • Assignee and reviewer notes

  • Assigned Win Theme (if applicable)

Tip: Retain a copy of exported answers for offline audit and version tracking.
