Keeping your BidScript account secure is important, and changing or resetting your password is quick and straightforward. Depending on your situation, there are a few different ways to do this.

Change Your Password After Successfully Logging In

If you’re already signed in and want to change your password for security reasons, you can do this from your account settings.

Steps

  • Open Settings > Security

  • Select Set a password

Verify Your Identity

For security, BidScript will ask you to verify your identity.

  • A verification email will be sent to your registered account email

  • Open the email and click the verification link

  • Follow the on-screen steps to set your new password

Tip: If you don’t see the email, check your spam or junk folder. You can also resend the verification email if needed. For best results, complete the verification as soon as possible.

Forgot Your Password?

If you can’t log in because you’ve forgotten your password, you can reset it from the login page.

Steps

  • Go to the BidScript login page

  • Enter your email address

  • Click Forgot password

  • Confirm that reset instructions should be sent to your email

Reset Via Email

  • Check your email for the password reset message

  • Follow the instructions in the email to create a new password

  • Return to the login page and sign in

Tip: Check your spam or junk folder if the email doesn’t arrive, and complete the reset promptly.

Sign In Using an Email Code

If you’d rather not reset your password, you can sign in using a temporary email code.

Steps:

  • On the login page, select Email sign-in code

  • Check your email for the one-time code

  • Enter the code to access your account

Note: Email sign-in codes are temporary and may expire, so use them as soon as they arrive.

Using Microsoft or Google Sign-In

If your account uses Microsoft SSO or Google SSO as the default sign-in method:

  • Password resets must be handled directly with Microsoft or Google

BidScript cannot reset passwords for external SSO providers

Please use:

  • Microsoft password recovery

  • Google password recovery

Trouble Accessing Your Account?

If you’re unable to access your BidScript account due to an issue with your Microsoft or Google account, contact us:

Please explain the situation clearly. Where appropriate, we can:

  • Disable Microsoft or Google SSO

  • Enable email and password login instead

Note: Users can only have one sign-in method enabled at a time, and changes to sign-in methods must be handled by support.

Password Best Practices

BidScript enforces the following password requirements to help protect your account and information:

  • Minimum length: 14 characters

  • Password complexity: Must include at least:

    • 1 uppercase letter

    • 1 lowercase letter

    • 1 number

    • 1 special character

  • Compromised passwords: Passwords identified as breached or compromised cannot be used.

  • Password history: You cannot reuse any of your 3 most recently used passwords.

For additional security, we recommend using a unique password that you do not use for any other service and storing it securely in a reputable password manager.

Never share your password with anyone, including colleagues or BidScript support staff.
