The Answer Workspace is where you draft, refine and finalise your response to a single tender question. Drafting, collaboration, AI assistance and governance controls all sit in one place, so a response never has to leave the platform to be written or reviewed.
Every Answer Workspace is connected to its parent project, which means each response is grounded in:
The tender documents uploaded to the project
Project-specific data and metadata
Approved organisational knowledge from the Bid Library and Q&A Store
That grounding is what keeps responses accurate, compliant and consistent with your organisation's approved messaging.
Where to find it
Open your project from the Projects area.
Go to the Workspace tab.
Go to the Questions tab.
Click the edit icon on the far left hand side of any extracted question.
The Answer Workspace for that question opens.
If no questions are listed, they have not been extracted yet. See BidBot question extraction.
What you can do here
The Answer Workspace supports the full life of a response, from first draft to final approval.
Draft | Write manually, or generate drafts with BidScript Draft Generation system - one question at a time or in bulk across many. |
Plan (Optional) | Storyboard the structure, evidence and messaging before drafting begins. |
Collaborate | Work alongside colleagues in real time as assignees or reviewers, with comments and threaded discussion. |
Control | Track every change automatically through snapshots and version history. |
Align | Apply Win Themes so messaging stays consistent across the bid. |
Assure | Resolve content gaps flagged against tender requirements, and evaluate answers against the scoring criteria. |
Finish | Export approved answers for submission, and upload them back into the Q&A Store for reuse. |
How it fits your bid process
The Answer Workspace is the single source of truth for drafting and collaboration. Instead of moving content between emails, documents and disconnected tools, the whole team works in one environment with:
Real-time visibility of ownership and progress
Built-in version control and audit history
AI assistance available without leaving the editor
A clear line between the tender question, the answer, and the source material behind it
Best practice
Draft in the Answer Workspace rather than in external documents, so the audit trail stays complete.
Set assignees and reviewers early, so ownership is clear from the outset.
Confirm your Bid Libraries, Win Theme and output language before generating a draft. Changing them afterwards means regenerating.
Treat each workspace as the living record of how a response evolved, not just where the final text lives.
