The Project Dashboard is the home screen for a single bid. It brings together that project's key details, its team, its activity history, and BidBot, so you can see the state of the bid at a glance and move into any part of the work from one place.

Where the Projects area gives you a view across all your bids, the Project Dashboard is where you work inside one of them.

Where to find it

  1. In the left-hand sidebar, under Workspace, click Projects.

  2. Click the opportunity card for the project you want to open.

The Project Dashboard opens, showing that project's name and client at the top of the screen.

Project details

The dashboard displays two groups of project information.

Identity

Project Name and Client Name are set when the project is created, and carry through automatically. Changing them here updates the project name everywhere it appears - the dashboard, Files, Pipeline and Workspace views.

Commercial

Status

The project's progress stage: Not Started, Ongoing, Submitted, Won or Lost.

Probability

Your estimated likelihood of winning the bid.

Contract Value

The value of the opportunity.

Closed Date

The date the opportunity was won or lost.

You can set these values when the project is created, or edit them at any time from the dashboard. Some update automatically as work progresses within the project.

Configure the project team

Set up your project team before you begin assigning questions and tasks. Assignment options throughout the project are drawn from this team, so an incomplete team means missing names in every assignment dropdown you use later.

  1. In the top-left of the Project Dashboard, find the Team section.

  2. Click Edit.

  3. Assign your Lead, Assignees and Reviewers.

  4. Save your changes.

The named team members now appear as options wherever you assign questions or pipeline tasks in this project.

Use BidBot from the dashboard

BidBot is your bidding assistant, available throughout the project.

  1. In the bottom-left of the Project Dashboard, click into the BidBot chat box.

  2. Type your message and send it.

A full-height BidBot panel opens down the left-hand side of the screen. The panel stays open as you move between pages of the project, so you can keep BidBot alongside you across every part of the bid.

For what BidBot can do and how to prompt it effectively, see the BidBot overview and Agent BidBot articles.

Review the project history

The bottom-right of the Project Dashboard shows a log of everything that has happened in the project, newest first.

The history records file uploads, question status changes, draft generation, and editorial and reviewer activity. It forms the audit trail for the project, so you can evidence who did what and when.
