Upload your tender pack into a project's Workspace tab. Everything else in BidScript - classification, question extraction, drafting - depends on these files being in place and fully indexed.

Upload files

  1. Open your project and go to the Workspace tab.

  2. Click the + icon.

  3. Select Add Files. The upload window opens.

  4. Drag your files into the window, or click Browse to choose them from your computer. When browsing, hold Cmd (Mac) or Ctrl (Windows) to select several files at once.

  5. Click Upload.

The files appear in your workspace and immediately begin indexing.

To organise your documents as you go rather than afterwards, select Create a Folder at step 3 instead, then add files inside the folder.

What happens after upload

Files may look as though they have uploaded successfully while they are still being processed. An indexing percentage in the top-right of the screen shows how far along that processing is.

When indexing reaches 100% the indicator disappears, and BidScript classifies each document automatically.

Wait for indexing to finish before extracting questions. See Document Workspace: Overview for the full sequence.

If an upload stalls

If your files have not finished processing after five minutes:

  1. Check that your internet connection is stable.

  2. Close any unused browser tabs, which may be consuming memory.

  3. Close any unused applications on your computer.

  4. Refresh the BidScript tab and upload the files again.

If the problem continues, contact your support manager or email [email protected].
